Salutations, KoGaMians.
Today I shall bring up a major flaw of the game, that being how this game's security is nothing but a big lousy joke.
Hackers have gone rampant for almost all the time in KoGaMa, yet do you notice how things just keep getting worse instead of better? Do you notice that the developers do NOTHING, like literally NOTHING about it?
People using cheats and hacks keep ruining the game experience for everyone and even scare away most newcomers in various ways, either by using cheats like rapid fire to keep blowing up players with bazooka or a newly published cheat that allows people to DESTROY games, like literally break all the blocks, but this is rather minor compared to another thing that has been going on.
There has been cases where players got their gold removed out of nowhere, which has happened before in other cases (e.g. Dogeritos and _kuba787_), yet wasn't acknowledged by most people in the community until today, where the rank 1 player on the live server's leaderboards, YL, became a victim as well! Not even the developers have cared about that before!
This leads me to believe that the current developers do not care about this game anymore, or not as much as they used to, especially with developers like FloshPlosh and Daniel Everland having left Multiverse ApS.
If nothing is done about it, then things will only get worse as well as the game getting more insecure, and no one wants that.
Anyway, that's it for my rant. Feel free to share your thoughts on this subject.
Have a good day, KoGaMians, and stay safe.
Regards Abaddon

What about adding game-moderators which can kick hackers

What about adding game-moderators which can kick hackers This has been suggested before and I think the KoGaMa Discord server mods would be a good fit for that, but it doesn't seem like they will implement it anytime soon.

I have created a petition to get the devs' attention on this situation. Please consider signing. chng.it/QgjgqjyRnm

KoGaMa has terrible game failures.
The trick that removes cubes is possible to correct, as there are weapons that do not work to remove cubes because there is a comparison for each player, for example the Bazooka and the sword.
I could also cite solutions for other tricks.

In my opinion, KoGaMa is an amazing 3D sandbox game creator and has always had amazing potential to it as a platform. I have been on this website throughout some of it's toughest and darkest times, and especially through the unfortunate collapse of what was originally us.kogama.com and now friends.kogama.com.
Some of these developers have been on here for a very long time, and sure, covid does make it tough in some ways for the developers, as they may possibly lack opportunities to work on the game at home along with difficulties with acquiring new equipment/software and whatever else may be necessary to keep things running great on the site.
Due to these recent events, KoGaMa has appeared to go out of control easily, just like how other things/places in life have around the globe. The events and regulations caused by covid-19 creates some sort of "opportunistic infection" in almost any community whether if it's digital or in real life. And yes, a global pandemic is something that has not been seen for a very long time in life so it's new to us, and basically a new situation that we have to learn to tackle as a global community. Covid has caused many difficulties for jobs both in the real and digital world, and the digital world has always had a greater vulnerability to it, due to the rising power of technology. So I'm sure it's going to be easier for some developers to move on to something else in order to make a better living for themselves, depending on their life situations.
KoGaMa has always been a small team, and I'm sure more privatized as it appears that the Multiverse APS team primarily accepts those who are in a closer proximity to help work for them. Them being a small team of developers have always made them more vulnerable in ways to making mistakes, taking a while to fix bugs/release new updates, and most importantly, vulnerability for it's game and game's website to be both exploited and hacked. I wish they would find some way to expand on their team and etc, but of course that side of things has to be complex in general.
I have always had strong faith in KoGaMa and it's purpose on the internet. I remember being young at age 11 and wishing to create my own games, but not having the skills nor time to dedicate myself to learn coding and other real game design necessities, so KoGaMa has always helped me fulfill that dream, especially as it is possibly the most simple platform to create games with with an awesome community behind it. But yes, I 100% agree that something must be done, as things appear to be going downhill recently, but only by a bit. And no matter what may happen in the future to KoGaMa (if anything more serious than this happens/may happen), personally, I will always be here to help support it, as I always have been.

Glad that a few people mentioned it. I mean, devs did say that many of the things got delayed because of the pandemic. However, security could've been stepped up long ago.

There's always been a problem with hackers. I remember having to play with a certain ex-EBC member as his avatar was frozen in place and everyone around him was getting "super-slapped" across the world. The same guy upped an impulse gun's power by a ridiculous factor while Exel was trying to film a video in his football game, and thus ruining the whole experience. There was also a problem with some players using low-tech "hacks" like auto-click to make the center gun a machine gun. Heck, whenever I've gone to a War 4 map in the past couple years (don't ask me why I did such a thing), there's always been at least one "superman" player -- un-killable despite having an empty health bar, and capable of super fast flight without any sort of vehicle. Yeah, "hacks" have gotten better over time. I don't know what to tell you. Exploitation of vulnerabilities in the game has always been a problem -- and it always will. Period. As you patch those holes, trolls will just find more. Even well-established games like Minecraft, complete with large development teams and the backing of Big Tech, aren't invulnerable. It's just the way of the world. But if people are really stealing gold out-of-game, that would seem to point to a bigger site security flaw that needs to be addressed ASAP.

I remember the "super slap." I took a video of it back in early-to-mid-2013 and still I have it, but I would have to go fetch it from my old laptop. We all thought that there was some in-game "ghost" going around back then, but really it was someone hacking in the game all along.

Yeah. I remember it hitting the forums that the "super-slap ghost" coincided with a particular player (or two) standing frozen in place, invincible. The devs couldn't do anything without video proof. I mean, after thread after thread, it became clear who was hacking, but it was all just word against word, so nothing really came of it. During the football game episode I mentioned, Mr. Everland actually showed up at a point and told off the hacker because of all the messages he was getting from angry players. It's weird thinking back to the dramas going on back then ... it's really no different from now. Don't get me started on the whole Undefined/Deleted stuff. On one hand, I'm sad it's over, but on the other, I was getting tired of the "It's Undefined!" joke popping up in every bug report thread.
