After a long while of working just fine on my machine, Kogama suddenly decided that it'll have an "unknown error" upon clicking "Build." It gives me two options: Rejoin Game & Download Kogama. Rejoin Game, which adds "?webgL=1" to the URL just brings me back to the same error. But I'm not sure I want to download the standalone, since 1) the dev team apparently no longer supports it, and 2) Kogama's sudden failure to function is most likely server-side given that nothing's changed on my end, so there's that question of whether it'll actually work.
Thoughts?

Thoughts? I have only errors for the launcher, webgl is working fine for me while not being pleasant (mouse is ultra sensible in WebGL so it's pain to build models and avatars) also my brother happen to have the same error which happen 1/2 of the time for him

Unfortunately I cannot use Standalone cause I use a Macbook, (it's actually the laptop I've been using for college for these past few years lol). But sorry you had to come across these issues.

Okay, I tried a couple of things. I booted Firefox in Safe Mode, which really weirded out the loading screen for Kogama games. Don't ask. Then I did more research. While the latest version of Firefox, 83.0, was released on the 17th, it didn't make it onto my PC till the 20th -- the day before everything broke. As ill advised as it was, I downgraded. The game now works. I guess it has something to do with one of Firefox's latest changes: www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/83.0/releasenotes/The error that continually appeared in the Console was "Use of nsIFile in content process is deprecated. NetUtil.jsm:253:8." Since the downgrade, that error has disappeared (though a couple others remain). I hope the problem gets fixed on KoGaMa's end or Mozilla's end, 'cause I don't like restarting my browser like this.

well if you ask me it is worth it, personally for me the last years even on good computer the game is unplayable on browser and its just perfect on launcher. Tho when i platy the game on one of the laptops on launcher its laggy again... In conclusion if it worked good on browser and now it does not, just download the launcher.

I've been playing on Standalone for lots and lots of time, for me, it's really the best option. Web for me is really laggy, but y'know, if you have a good pc sure the best option is the webgl.
