News Announcement
Hello KoGaMians!
Today we're releasing an exciting new feature. As you might recall, Google has disabled something called NPAPI, which caused a lot of issues for our web player. We tried replacing it with WebGL, but that obviously didn't quite work out the way we wanted. Since then we've worked on creating a standalone build, which basically means you now download KoGaMa as a local program on your computer. Everything still works the way it used to, you still have to find games through the website and such, it just runs in a different way on your computer. There's a couple of things to keep in mind though. First thing first, the standalone only works with Windows at the moment You're going to receive a warning when downloading the setup file. This is simply becuase our program doesn't have a whole lot of downloads yet, and as such your browser will warn you of this. We're looking into a workaround with our partners where we, hopefully, might be able to bypass this, but for now you just have to let your browser know we're cool Remember this is a very early build! None of this existed 2 weeks ago and creating a launcher is very complicated. We're looking for feedback now more than ever, so please, let us know what you think. If you have any questions, feel free to post them in the comment section!

This is the best feature I've ever encountered. Very outstanding development team 10/10 Oh a question: Will this new feature make the use of third party softwares difficult? We'll be very happy if it is Edit:I noticed that framework is required to continue the installation

We have a theory, keep in mind it is just a theory, that since we can now see what processes are running on your computer, we'll be able to detect whether or not you have Cheat Engine running. This should at the very least make it much much more difficult to cheat. Edit:I noticed that framework is required to continue the installation
Yes, we're using .NET 4.5 for the launcher, which does require a rather large download. We're looking for alternative methods so we can reduce the download size. On the plus side, we're far from the only company that uses .NET 4.5 - By downloading this now, you're allowing yourself to use thousands of other applications

I was going to check it out, but I can't install it. Even if I try to instal as an administrator, it gives this error message:
Installation has failed Unable to write to C:\ProgramData\(User name) - IT policies may be restricting access to this folder

And it doesn't even work on firefox. :( It works on Firefox for me. When I attempt to access the client, I receive a pop-up asking me to select an application to open the link. If I select the KogamaLauncher-Friends (what we downloaded) I am good to go.

Could you guys send me screenshots of this? I'm not familiar enough with this system to fully understand when this occurs

There's the error window. When I click on "Open Setup Log", nothing happens.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when I download it and say it is trusted it stays but when I try to open it Norton picks it up as a high severity threat and that I have to restart my computer. It won't let me even open it.
