Hello, I'm back again, I've been gone for, three months? Anyways, its good to be back sharing my opinion.
The chat in KoGaMa isn't really special, its like any other chat, except for the ability to color text. and now more that ever there are toxic chat spammers. While the chat cool down has dumbed it down, it hasn't entirely removed it. There is a fix to this: Chat restriction. Game owners are able to restrict certain chats in their game(s) , all). In the game settings would be a chat settings tab, with two options: game chat restriction, and game chat timer (which I will get to later). In there, there is on off switch for each chat, as well as pm (private message, activate in chat /pm [player name]{is also a suggestion}). This would be good for games where you need to communicate with your team only, or just to protect young kogamians.
The second part of this post I will be talking about chat delay. This will further increase the delay between messages. When someone types a message in chat, the message won't appear immediately. This can be used for games where talking in, for example, say, is like using a telephone, which, has a delay. I could only ever find this useful in roleplaying games. In the settings, there is a delay for each chat (general, say, team, pm) and a chat delay box with default 0. You can type the delay to however many seconds you want the chat delay to be.
