Hello there, I generally try to solve logic issues on my own, so this is new for me. I could use some help building something seemingly simple: a capturepoint system with team-restrictions built in.
Now, I have absolutely no issue building a capturepoint that cycles through two or four teams, and starts out neutral before being pressed. What I need is something with team specificity in the form of team-colored pressure plates. I want a capturepoint that can't turn red if touched by a blue team member, and won't turn blue if touched by a red team member. That way, a rogue teammate or a newbie can't jeopardize the game just by pressing a button.
This is how I want the capturepoint to behave: 1- Start out neutral (white)
2- Turn Blue if touched by a Blue Team member 3- Don't change if touched again by a Blue Team member 4- Turn Red if touched by a Red Team member 5- Don't change if touched again by a Red Team member 6- Turn Blue if touched by a Blue Team member 7- And so on and so forth
Now, I can work out a way for the capturepoint to start neutral. My main concern is the implementation of team restrictions.
I'll continue to try to work out this problem. If I manage to figure it out, I'll post an update here.
Thanks, Ozy
