Oculus versions I made in a random project (long post)

yes, I've done MANY posts about Oculus, it's that he's my favorite kogama character, I think he's really interesting, and I love to share fanarts, and etc about him
is that this time I have something about him that I NEED to share, it's pretty cool
(every time i make a new version i will update this post)
I was really excited to show this here, hope you like it hehehe
in 2021, september, I made a private project on kogama, (which btw many of the screenshots I've already shared here were taken on this project)
and in it I made some different "versions" of the Oculus, in models, as if they were "skins" for oculus, I don't know how to explain it very well lol
and I'll show them here, and explain a little about each one!

Colorful Oculus (or whatever you want to call him)
He's just a colorful oculus, with arrows, stars, and with a checkerboard pattern. his body shape is a little different too.
Fun fact: he is inspired by the Glitchcore and Kidcore aesthetic
Plushie Oculus
the Plushie Oculus is basically an oculus based on a plush toy, that's all
Weirdcore (?) Oculus
he is an oculus inspired by the Weirdcore aesthetic, (if you don't know what it is, search, but there may be some things that may make you uncomfortable) his eye, instead of being an eyeball, is a 2d cartoon eye
Slime Oculus
He's a slime oculus, he's got blades, and knives stuck inside him (reference to the fact that the oculus' arms are blades)
Fun fact: he is made of a corrosive and toxic slime
(i have no idea how the knives and blades aren't dissolving inside him lol)
Candyland Oculus
the Candyland Oculus is a oculus made of candy, she was supposed to be based on a cake, I really like the candyland aesthetic!
(and cakes lol)
Fun fact: she is a friendly Oculus :3
Lightsaber Oculus
just an oculus based on lightsabers, he was kind of weird because the helmet was a little too big, and I couldn't do the lightsaber effect on his blades, but I still think he looks very cool :3
maybe i can make a second version of him later..
Rose Oculus
just an oculus based on a rose / rose bush, he's cute :3
Tropical Oculus / Summer Oculus
He is an oculus based on tropical and summer aesthetics, he is also based on a summer cocktail
I really like the summer aesthetic too!
Fun fact: the drink inside him is not alcoholic, and it is mango with pineapple flavor lol
Berry Oculus / Fruit oculus
he is just an oculus based on a fruit (a fictional fruit)
Gumball machine Oculus
He is a gumball machine oculus, i also love the gumball machine aesthetic
Amanita Oculus
the Amanita Oculus is an oculus based on Amanita muscaria mushrooms, and also somewhat based on those "mushroom parasitic monsters"
Holographic Oculus
(yes, the holographic effect was pretty ugly, but that's the only way I managed to do it lol)
the holographic oculus is based on those holographic blades, holographic knives, which btw I think are pretty

Birthday Cake Oculus
(he has a piece missing from the side of his head, as if a slice has been taken from him)
the Birthday Cake Oculus is pretty much the same as the Candyland Oculus, both are cakes
Lava Oculus / Magma Oculus / Volcanoculus
He's just a volcanic oculus.
(if kogama had more options for customizing blocks I would make he look more like lava, with more glowing effects, I tried to do it with the light logic, but it keeps giving those weird bugs)
Fun fact: the detail under his body glows (that yellow and black square thing under the oculus' body)
(I think you can see a little in the pic)
(yes, I didn't put the stones under him because it would be more work and also because it wouldn't show up lol, but he has rocks underneath)
Idk a name for him lol
He has a kind of "tribal" vibe (?)
(I don't know how to explain it, but I also think he's pretty cool)
I think characters with this style are really cool
note: the skull he wears on his head is from a fictional animal
Statue Oculus
just an statue Oculus
(I like statues lol)
Christmas Oculus
(his christmas lights keep changing color)
this oculus, I made him at Christmas 2021, and he is based on a fanart I made on the day:

Surrealitch Oculus / Surreal Glitch Oculus
the Surrealitch Oculus is an oculus based on an aesthetic that I really like, which is like weirdcore, dreamcore, deep dream, etc, and I like to call it "surreal glitch"
the Surrealitch Oculus was supposed to be in that kind of "bizarre" and "weird" vibe
Fun fact: this oculus that is floating is a parasite
Fun fact ²: the oculus that is on the ground is friendly
Chainsaw Oculus
(my friend helped me with the chainsaw oculus)
I really like imagining the style of oculus' blades, and the oculus himself, based on other types of cutting tools, and this time I wanted to make an chainsaw oculus >:DDDD
Fun fact: his pupil "follows" the player's camera
fun fact²: he is a robot oculus
Watermelon Oculus

I was just looking at some texture studies for reference for some drawings, then I saw a watermelon one and wanted to make an watermelon oculus lol
Pizza Oculus
he's just a pizza don't know what to say lol
(the original version was my friend who made him, this one in the photo is my version of the oculus)
Honey Oculus
He is an oculus based on honey, bees and honeycombs.
I admit, his model was pretty bad, but his original concept was supposed to be like this:
I'm not very good at making some specific types of models, and I still haven't been able to make the transparent effect, putting all that together, the Honey Oculus turned out really weird lol
Wool Oculus

he is an oculus based on pins, balls of yarn and sewing stuff in general.
his model was also kind of weird, not giving you a very good understanding of the model, but his original concept was supposed to be like this:

Lollipop Oculus
he is an oculus based on round lollipops, i wanted to make his body shape different too
fun fact: he is also smaller than the other oculi
Sorbet Oculus / Sorboculus
(wow, there are a lot of oculi on the map based on candy lol)
this oculus is based on ice cream and sweet cookies :3

Trident Oculus

The Trident Oculus is an Oculus based on tridents and other things related to water

fun fact: as he is an oculus, he came from space, as confirmed by the kogama team, and the planet he came from is a water planet, and this octopus in his head is also from that water planet
Donut Oculus
(his back view is almost the same as the front view lol)
he's just a Oculus based in donuts, to be more specific, strawberry donuts
fun fact: his claws, and those details on top of his body, are strawberries :3
fun fact²: he is also based on a different type of Oculus that appears in some official KoGaMa artwork, that oculus has a "hole" in the middle of his body
Katana Oculus
the Katana Oculus is an Oculus based on Japanese katanas, and the Japanese style in general
the japanese texts on her blade, and other things were kinda weird, but she was supposed to be like this:
fun fact: the text on her blade means "Milky Way" in Japanese
this post was quite long, but it has a lot of versions
and yes, I love making different versions of the Oculus, I think it's really cool to do that!
