KoGaMa Profile: Yamin52 Web Browser: Chrome Client: WebGL AboutMyBrowser.com Link:
Steps to Reproduce Rare bug; Epoch time glitch
Additional Information (Optional) So there's just this January 1st 1970 thing, which was the day the epoch time started. However, things can go wrong, as sometimes the epoch time will be 0 (0 seconds from January 1st 1970, 0:00:00). Did anyone capture someone that joined in 1970?

Hi yamin52 Where do you see this? I am a little confused about what you are referring to. Are you talking about the users birthday when making a new user?

No, I didn't mean that, but an epoch glitch, where the time can reset back to 0, and when someone makes an account while the epoch time was set to 0, their account creation date will read "Joined KoGaMa on Jan 1, 1970". Did you spot any of those players that have this?

Hi yamin52 I do not know what you mean about "epoch". Do you maybe have some pictures of what you mean? I haven't noticed any of these users, so could you also provide a link to some of these profiles who have this bug?

Look, Daniel W, if you have Google, just search "epoch". You'll see what I mean. And how am I supposed to send links to the profiles that joined January 1st, 1970, when I don't know which then??

Hi yamin52 If you do not know of any profiles where it says they joined in 1970, how do you know that this is happening? I am not able to search for users that joined at that time with any tools that I have. If you do not have any links to users where this happened, do you then have any steps on how to reproduce the bug?

The steps to reproduce the bug is just simply join where it could say that you joined in January 1st 1970 rarely. Maybe there's someone that took screenshots of someone that joined in 1970. Also, sorry for something off-topic, but YL's profile ID is 40000000. Maybe you guys just edited that for fun or something?

Hi yamin52 But how do you know that this has happened if you can't find a profile where it says they joined in 1970? I have no idea why YL's ID is what it is. There were some issues with his profile a little while ago so maybe it was changed after that.

Daniel, YL's ID maybe had changed by an admin just for fun (I think), but just look at r/epochfail, and you'll ACTUALLY see what I mean. Sometimes the profile creation date COULD be January 1st, 1970.

Hi yamin52 Nothing. I just tried to look at the subreddit, but I couldn't see anything related to kogama showing this issue. Do you have a link to the post you were talking about?

I don't have a link, but that subreddit just shows what January 1st, 1970 is. Again; you could search for people that "joined" in January 1st, 1970.

Hi yamin52 I can't find anything on the subreddit about this. As such I am going to close this thread. If you find out how to reproduce this bug (and you succeed in doing so), please write again and I will take another look. Have a nice day
