News Announcement
Hello KoGaMians!
Today we proudly introduce a new object to our collection - the windmill.
The windmill can push any object from players to hovercrafts. It is, of course, also logic trigger-able, so you can introduce it in your favorite logic sequence!
It's available in the store right now under the "Logic" category

Works great, but it only goes up. Although I do see some floaty pvp maps coming soon. :3 Right click the object to access its Settings. You'll find a variable named Pitch which will rotate the windmill's effect up to 180 degrees vertically. You can also change its Range through these Settings. However, the only way to increase its power is to clone them on top of each other.

Overall, this update is great. A wind object was a popular suggestion at one time, so I'm glad to see something similar added. It will surely add more variety and fun to certain obstacles. Additionally, its graphic animation could serve to have more purposes than just pushing a player as well. Thank you very much for this update! That being said, I did find a few issues: - While jumping on or near a deactivated windmill object, the player will experience slower movement and reduced jump height.
- There's a slight horizontal force being applied at 0 and 180 pitch. A player will appear to slide on any block under its affects.
- I believe some players might prefer an option to hide the object, perhaps allowing a model enabler line being able to interact with the turbine object would work.

ௐJasonௐ has found another issue using the Jetpack with the Windmill object. I haven't found the exact method to reproduce yet, however, it appears that the slow descent effect of the Jetpack can be amplified and persist on the player. This effect can last without the Jetpack even equipped. Edit: Alright, so the issue seems to be more related to the function of the Jetpack than the Windmill. Although I'm not certain, it appears the maneuvering aspect of the Jetpack can get stuck. I cannot recreate the exploit as much as it occurs in this game, nonetheless, the probability of the exploit initiating seems to be related to how many Windmills are affecting the player with the Jetpack. So here are my steps and video to show the end result: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Pick up a Jetpack. 2. Walk into a multiple stack of Windmills. 3. As soon as you start to accelerate upward, move back and hold the 'S' key to keep going backwards. -> Once you notice the Jetpack has gone fully horizontal, the exploit should have been initiated. This will cause the player to slowly descend, with or without the Jetpack. This will usually stay in effect until you interact with another Windmill object. Coincidentally, the reduction in jump height with this effect is very similiar to the reduced jump height effect when near a deactivated Windmill. Note: Since the video captured a troll, the video is unlisted. This means you can only see if it you share the link with other people. However, I would recommend that you please do not share the video. Thank you.
