Well,Im sure that I could type a sentence.Oh nope!I can't.What this idea will do is remove disallowed url input so people can make a sentence for a day.

The point of the URL blocker was to reduce the amount of scam and outside site referral links from going around on the BR server. In hindsight, it's not a bad idea for a game directed at younger plays, since it will generally make it safer. But at the same time it's easily bypassed. It won't affect sentences that are correctly written - ends with a period, follows with a space. And it won't bother with ellipses either. The general rule is that if more than one character follow a period, it's not allowed. So, simply just replace the periods with a different character or add a space after each period - and that will bypass the URL blocker. Also, the URL blocker doesn't affect names. So you can name yourself a URL link, which is weird...

makes sense you can post kogama links, just not links outside, so anything with a url look to it will be blocked, this includes the periods as jatsu said, but can easily be modified to paste a link, but manually replace all the periods I think a better feature for this could be simple, the sites will allow urls but filter it if it contains, explicit content, like known urls that are bad will auto be blocked and if its safe, say a facebook link or youtube link it will show. When a url would show it could possible give a feature to if you click it, it will take you to a new tab following the link but a prompt message is "are you sure you want to visit this link? This has no feature with Kogama" or something of that like like steam does

You have to type the BBCode tags out.
It's not offered as a button on the default forum template, but if you use plugins for the forums, you can enable the button to be visible. ProBoards, the company that hosts these forums, has a dev center for people to upload plugins you can use on your own forums.
I found this while I was doing research on creating a forum bot. Unfortunately, there's no API associated with ProBoards that you can use to get data/posts from the forum. You can however attach a plugin through the admin panel that modifies how the forums works though, and I think that's where a forum bot would have to go in order to work. I don't have access to that though... so I'm still looking for alternatives - I think I might have to learn how to use Python scripts to manually browser each link, grab the info I want, and paste it in a formatted document.

Even Daniel found this to be an inconvenience when he told us all to sign up here. I think this furthers the cause.
