I'm giving my feedback here because the name is FEEDBACK and suggestions. I nearly threw up when I realized that I needed to buy gold to get an emblem.
So it means you are breaking a pattern everyone was happy about, not content to spend money and giving proof that you were present on that day, and feel rewarded for that, to give them the option to buy the gold to receive the emblem . I know you guys need money, but getting a free reward from the players is already overkill. Without any hassle with you, I understand the current situation, but you should find a solution trying to control the benefit as much as players who do not pay anything (Free Players) As much as players who pay. Even with you removing the gold, people were still happy that they found the badges cool (by the way, keep up the great design work), but now, you have to pay for it, it's totally out of context.
It's like a loot box, only you have the option to pay. In Overwatch, for example, you gain loot boxes from playing events, however you have the option to buy, leaving both types of players happy. I honestly think, if you guys want to find another way to get the badges / gold, how about doing in-game events? "Delete 30 players on a single map (Only maps with +15 players)" or even win the same game more than 3 times (only with maps with +10 players, delay of 10 minutes) (If you won 2 games in a row in less than 15 minutes, the number would reset.)
These are my suggestions and my opinion.
Without any hate, MVDA.

I understand your concern, we did this last year as well, so these easter badges are pretty much additions to the king of kogama, member and star member badges. Overwatch isn't the best example, where you have to buy the game for ~30 euros initially - It's not free in Overwatch as you bought the game anything that isn't free after buying a full game is paid DLC. What we are doing is merely encouraging gold purchases. You are still given the main currency of the game, without any additional benefits other than an emblem showing you bought it during this time of the year. I respect your suggestions and opinions, thank you for sharing

I think Overwatch may be rather an example, maybe not perfect, but it can be a good example. There is nothing that there is no way for you to pick up, just some event stuff, but these come back. You can get the Loot Boxes playing, paying is totally optional.
