Browser link:aboutmybrowser.com/bsQFcjQPExample image:Bug Description:Whenever another player picks up a star, it will play its chime sound no matter how far a distance it is between it and you. A player could collect a star 500 blocks away from you, and you'd still hear it at normal volume. It's like everyone's star collecting sound is attached to your personal camera, rather than the location the star is actually at. This is troubling because it's incredibly annoying and loud in games with large number of players and large clusters of stars. You can also hear the star chime when a player passes over a star he or she already collected! Yes, a grayed out star will make a sound for other players! The person passing over a collected star won't hear it, but other players will. And a star will also chime if the player flies over a star in edit mode. Again, the player passing over the star won't hear it, but any other player in the game, edit or play mode, will be able to. Steps to reproduce: (warning: requires 2 accounts) 1. Log two characters into the same game or project. 2. Have one character pass over a star - you should hear two chimes. 3. Have the same character pass over the same star it collected - you should hear one chime. 4. Move one of the characters to a far far away distance (I tested it as far as I could barely hear a TNT explosion, but hey, dealers' choice) 5. Have the same character from step 2 and 3 pass over the same grayed star - the far away player will still hear a chime! Log file:Burned in a star, sorry...

Thanks for the report! Don't worry about the logfile, it wouldn't do much in this specific case

I loved stars when they were first added
How it was:
When someone collected a star it didn't make the noise and it showed how many they collected
Now:
Anyone gets a star you hear *Ding* and you don't know how many they have
And some bugs you missed with the star
*bug: When on teams for star collecting and when one person collects all stars the game ends. It doesn't act like a team star gathering technique all team members gather different amount of stars and when the game ends sometimes a team will have more stars gathered then what there is because it adds all team players stars together, so the same team member could gather the same star multiple times

Actually, I really like how they removed the star collection spam from the activity feed. It was a complete distraction and made it hard to read other things, like if a player died or was killed. The team winning thing is working correctly though, but I think it was intended to be used in timed rounds or other game scenarios that were gonna be made available with the "RoundCube" logic box (that disappeared from test server D:). As it is right now (because there are no rounds) the game ends when a player collects all available stars in a game - but the team winner is the team that has collectively collected the most stars: Believe me, it will make more sense when the RoundCube gets released... because then you can actually make a decision between what actually wins a game - first person or team to collect all stars OR team to collect the most stars in a time period. There is a display problem with teamless games with stars though. The 4th and higher player will have their star score counted as a time like "000:000.015" instead of "15". But I'll report that later...

Perhaps, instead of being in the activity feed it should be in the score tab? Like this
Player Name, Kills, Deaths, Stars

I remember on the BR Server on Michal's new game, how many of those "Bling!" sounds there were. Why do I even remind myself of that? -_-
