But why? After months I still have problems with the terrain rendering issue, which seems to progress the more you build into a project. Until it's completely unplayable, because you can't guess what's around without stepping forward. I noticed that a few players - including myself, Avak and FUNStudios - face this problem more often than others. But I don't get the reason. Games like Matilda improved a little but the problem is still there. Even the big models can have a more distant range than the terrain in some of those cases.
I would appreciate any information about it. Thank you.

As a proof of how bad the issue is, I've decided to record a short - and bad quality - video about it. The project recorded is an abandoned one where I built a full peak with something around 2000 terrain blocks - or even more - I believe, most of them being full.
At a first moment, the project reveals part of the peak ahead, but it vanishes as soon as the rendering range retreats for who knows reasons. It stabilizes in that way, a very poor range distance for terrain blocks which is lower than the one from the models I've built all around.
As you can see, a project like that is unplayable for two reasons: It's awful, and destroy any sense of direction for the player. He will never know he's at the top of a peak, even if he looks down. He will never know there's a field of clouds around him until he walks in a specific direction, but still everything on his back will disappear so there's no point at all. He will never realise he's inside a cave because he can see through the walls. The reasons goes on.
My theory is still up: it affects a few players, and is related to how much terrain blocks you use to build into a project. This must be the bigger enviromnent I've ever done in KoGaMa, so that's why it's the most ruined project due to that issue. Sadly I will never publish it, for obvious reasons. I hope that's enough to show how bad can be this problem.

I can't really continue my series Nothing.exe if this bug doesn't get fixed...

Did you use a high ammount of terrain blocks too?

While in development in my latest project, "Open Mindedness", I noticed that I also have the rendering issue. It seemed quite odd to see all of these huge, fancy brick models to just appear all at once.

Yeah, it's really annoying.

I like to keep my projects secret, but this glitch really bothers me... Note: most of the ugly sandy mountain area is actually supposed to be below sea level, it's just that it is hard to edit the game with water in the way. Image #1: the continent at a distanceThere is actually more to the ocean's floor than what you can see. Image #2: the continent's shore line
Yes, this is the same area that is seen in image #1... The continent is actually several times the size that you see here. Image #3: the continent, farther inland
Nope, you're not seeing the result of unfinished work, you are seeing the failure of the terrain rendering system... You don't see it, but there is a village made of models between a few trees that are nearby the green part of the continent. You may view all three images here.

I actually wasn't aware this affected terrain blocks. I'll talk to Christian about it when he has time.

That always affected only terrain blocks. Models are working fine.
