no i don't mean the text boxes that we already have. I mean we need a text box on the player's screen like you would see in a true RPG, players would be able to edit the text in the boxes as well as the nameplate of the text box, or set no nameplate. It would be a logic cube that has a setting of range, that is, the text box will appear to players who enter range of the logic cube and they have to press a certain button to close it or go to the next one if we're able to show multiple consecutive text boxes. It could also be connected to pressure plates and whatnot. oh, here's an idea, add a once toggle, so each player will only receive the message once
i suggested this earlier when talking about NPCs but honestly I don't care about the NPCs I just really hate the floating text and that all text has to be in the environment... also with this you could pretend someone is talking to you via a speaker or intercom for instance, no actual character required

Summing up your suggestion, in other words: We want Minecraft's "/tittle" for the game True, they would be similar in that they don't stop the player from moving and simply appear on screen, but /title is mostly made for... well, titles. This idea is more like how some Minecraft map makers have their NPCs or player character talk in the chat, complete with buttons to advance the text. Even then, it would still not be exactly like that due to KoGaMa having a much different focus then Minecraft, which is simple and intuitive multiplayer game creation.
