A programming mode (as an alternative of logics) would be a good way to teach players how computers work etc. and would make lots of things easier: - you can code loops with a specified number of loops without needing a pulse cube + time delay cubes - you could change big things (e.g. random color games) more easily than having to reconnect lots of logic cubes etc. and more!
You would then only need to add logic cubes which are visible for players or take user input or affect users (pressure plates, trigger areas, tnt, fire, etc., but not pulse cubes) and add ID strings in a setting (right click on the object > "Settings") to it Would then be like this ( Python): while 1: # main loop while getObject("P1").isPressed() and not getObject("P2").isPressed(): model = getObject("Model") # IDs set in an ID setting for the objects fire = getObject("Fire") model.show() fire.enable() wait(1) model.hide() fire.disable() wait(0.5)

this would be cool!

would be usefull for shure, but, I think the problem is that also younger kids play this game and I think that it would be hard for them to understand the programming code ... (but for that you could make it, that there are two options like one programming option (so you can do that what earth said) and that you still have the logic blocks)

It´s only usefull when every player/builder is able to code in Python. Sure, in some point it´s better this way, but to learn (only for build-mode) python is a little bit too much. f.e. you learn coding to build, but after shool you make a education as Carpenter. hope you understand the point.

I don't think it'll be ever added.

I don't see why this would be useful expect you can copy&paste. We need group logics.

Altough you can already do this with kogama plugin I know, there are some plugins (for Launcher) but I tried most of them but all failed ...
And with this thing you could create things which require lots of logic cubes
