What do you guys think of this new update?
My feedback would probably be something like:
The new textures look great. It's always fun to have some new variety. Again, I'm concerned as to why materials are redesigned instead of new ones added separately though. I would have assumed if more materials are added separately, you could generate new revenue from all players and not just those who don't own the material yet.
I haven't found any bugs with the new destructible ice material other than it seems stronger than the previously hardest material (which is odd, because it's ice and ice shatters!). However, a significant concern regarding the pricing comes up. According to the Friends announcement post:The large price of 1,000 is in obvious contrast to previous promises, thus I feel it to be a valid concern if this will be a trend moving forward. I should clarify that the topic of purchasing it isn't the issue, it's very simple to farm 1,000 gold over 10 days on Friends. Nonetheless, it is odd for new content/feature to be so pricey considering the past additions over the past year have been around 10 gold or silver.
Lastly, I like the new website links while playing games. It's a convenient way to see other games made by the same creator. A potential concern could be their individual relevance or preferences. It would be interesting, but not necessary, to be able to edit these game selections in the future - although it is possible to do so by republishing.
- Cracked materials have had their texture changed to a brick pattern.
- Destructible materials have had their textures changed to a cracked pattern.
- A new destructible material version of ice has been added.
- New game links to owner's content while playing a game.
- New keybinding graphic displaying which keys work in the game.

You'll be given updates before any other server so that you can test them for errors - obviously new features will be at a reduced price :)
