Is it a bug that you go backwards when using the six-shooter and double?

It is the knockback of the six shooters.

Every time you fire the Six Shooter, and Double Six Shooter, it will cause you to slide backwards, better known as recoil. And when you jump, that recoil is much greater.
Look at it this way. If there is a person with an impulse gun coming at you, and he hits you with a charged 100% blast, you'll go much further if you jump immediately before he releases it, rather than if you're just running, and touching the ground. The same thing works with these new weapons. Since there is no friction after leaving the ground while jumping, you'll travel at increased speeds upon firing.
