While working on my new Map, Winter Holdout, I entered HD mode and 2 things happened: A. the water reflections reflected everything including logic lines, and the shadow showed a render radius that made me see a 15 foot black circle follow me as I moved. These things make HD unsightly for me, and there are ways to make shadows available to players without destroying the frame rate. If you've played halo 4 in forge mode, they create shadows for players in-game with little to no power lost to the game as a whole. They do this by making the shadows an overlay to the maps textures. Basically the pre-render the shadows to see where they will be, then plaster an overlaying texture that is the shadow (sense they are not going to be moving anyway). So instead of having continually on-site rendered shadows that kill your game, the shadows can just exist as textures on the environment. This would 1. render the shadow limit a thing of the past, 2. Save tons of processing power, 3. allow shadows for normal play as well as HD because it is so efficient.
I list this as a bug because this is such a big deal, sense HD mode is supposed to make the game better, it shouldn't be making it worse.
Don't Hesitate to move the post if you feel it's necessary.

Can confirm report both 1 and 2 that:
1. HD mode reflects logic boxes and connections in project mode. In a published game, only logic boxes are reflected on the water plane. Only logic above the water plane is reflected.
2. Shadows in HD mode are only shown in a short radius. The best way to reproduce this is to create a huge hollow room, like 15x15x15 normal terrain blocks with a ceiling - enter HD mode, and stand near a wall and look at the opposite wall. You'll see about half the room still light and bright compared to the half nearest you.

Yeah I noticed and me and Avak discussed this. I thought i was funny a big shadow following me around

The HD reflections are already in the database, but thanks for reporting regardless! Regarding the shadows, I'm fairly certain that's an optimization decision. Real time shadows can be hard to render for lower end computers, especially if there's a lot of objects within a small radius. I'm not eliminating the possibility of more advanced options in the future, as far as I'm aware it simply hasn't been discussed yet.
