Your idea is good but I do not think this could work simply with buttons, for example: if I connect more logic between the button and the message box it would not be possible to detect who activated the button, it would be very difficult to fit this in the game This way, We have to think of some other way to make it work, Maybe a new unique connection form for that box, like the box that activates items that is the only one that has the yellow connection antenna, the message box could have its own new antenna

If you could programmatically detect when a player is touching an object, it doesn't take knowledge of game development to logically assume that you could detect, using one of the many possible solutions there are, what the username of the player using that object is.

"you" is not specific enough, pluse boxes can cause messages triggered by nobody so it should be based on range
