I don't come up with stupid ideas like, add a sword that looks like the Eiffel Tower. I come up with ideas that would be pretty simple an interesting additions to the game. Some of you may have seen my last idea post. Instead of making separate posts i made a big one. Here is another one just like that.
Game Message: When ever activated this logic box will add a message to the screen of every players screen, that moves with them.
Blast Radius: This would be an update to the TNT logic box. It would add an adjustable blast radius slider.
Animation: Easier animation, instead of making a logic intensive animation this feature would allow the creator to record an animation. Here's how it would work. The player would press a key on their keyboard like +, then a recording screen would pop up, moving items would create frames. Then when + is pressed again a logic box appears in front of you. This logic box stores the animation.
Bones: This goes with the animation, it is just a way to connect models as a whole, the bones would make joint's possible, like in 3D animating.
SkyBox addition: A skybox addition that would allow presets and the ability to add a night sky, with stars and the moon. The moon would be able manually go through cycles, like new moon, waning crescent, etc.
This is it for now, i might have more ideas later.
It's later! I had another idea.
Points: The addition of a new picked would be amazing. This pickup would be called the points pickup. At the end of a points round, whoever has the most points wins! There would be several point pickups, 1 point, 5 points, 10 points, etc. They would be in the shape of a sphere. Since KoGaMa is such a cartoonish game, this would be perfect.

Yes. Allowing creators to modify information the players receive is useful. It would allow for text cues (like event alerts already in game) that reach every player, regardless of their location. Inappropriate messaging could be a potential problem, but the content of global messages would be no less abusable than what creators can already do with normal text boxes.
Yes. There's a ton of settings that could be added to existing logic boxes that would positively influence level design. However, the more settings implemented, the more cluttered and possibly confusing an interface will be. Though, such consequences would only be initially temporary as all learning curves are overcome with time invested.
No. While logic permits 5 FPS (or 10 FPS if you want to do four times more work) animation, using logic to accomplish an advanced animation feature would be just as tedious and ineffective. Look up keyframe animations, this would be the more efficient route to take. Simply pick an initial and end point for a model to travel from and to, and select a speed for how fast it moves. Options for cycling, reset, and enable would be nice.
No. I would love some form of rigging to exist in Kogama, but not as the method suggested. The most troubling problem is interface. It probably would be better to iron out a method of grouping and anchoring models first. Then, once models are locked together - perhaps individual models within a group can be selected and modified with a keyframe system - or the entire group be modified as a whole.
Yes. Premium gradients and skyboxes would be simple to create and easy to sell. An alternative would be various presets that can offered through the Shop system. Regarding celestial bodies, the current system doesn't allow for cyclic motion of the star. Still, it would be cool if you could swap the texture of the body (sun to moon) or add more than one body to the skybox. It's possible more UI issues arise from this.
No. While I see the appeal of having a variety of models for points, this suggestion is just a derivative of stars. Stack multiple stars on top of each other to create collections of points. The player with the most stars still wins at the end. To be honest, I see nothing wrong with having various options to choose from, but I would prefer being able to edit the model of the collectable object myself.

I do see your point, but this would allow for platform games to be more fun. Maybe even having another gamemode box to allow for the person with the most stars collected to win.

Really like the game message and skybox addition ideas. Perhaps game messages can work like the motd does on minecraft. Or maybe when a player press "M" for menu it can display the message at the top or bottom of the menu screen. Another idea is to have game descriptions displayed this way so that you can view it while in game.
