Normally if you search for a friend only using letters, it will be complete in about 0.5 seconds
If you start with an underscore (_), the search will take about 10 seconds

Yes. For the same speed of the site itself, the time you add, An example (_) can rather hamper the search and let the slower (this has already been registered in the database).
