For quick reference, the leveling XP requirements are as follows:
As shown in the above image, my current XP is 516. Based on the provided table, I should be listed as level 2. However, I am listed as level 3. However, I do not have the 1200 XP that would label me at this level. Also, it shows that I need 1884 XP to reach the next level - which is more than the difference between level 3 and 4; 2400 - 1200 = 1200 and 1884 > 1200.
It seems that this level and XP discrepancy is not isolated to just my account however. Here are some more examples:
This can cause problems because players are being awarded badges that they shouldn't have yet. It's more problematic if it unlocks content/features/limits that a player hasn't earned yet. I can only offer guesses at what might be the cause of this. Perhaps it's due to XP requirements being rebalanced again before players' levels were reset. Or it could be that the listed XP requirements in the level information page are inaccurate. I'm sure the cause will be clearer on the developer end than it is for players.
Speaking of resets, it's now starting the 4th week after the 2-3 week estimate of levels being reset. Was there an exact date for this reset? (If there is, players should know about it!) Or has the official reset already happened? The latter seems unlikely due the topic of this thread.
