Firstly I would like to thank the devs for this amazing and unexpected update, which changes KoGaMa for better. There we go!
The new update brings out the GameCoins, a new feature which we're able to collect in-game and use to unlock pickups, flags, checkpoints, plates and probably a few things that I missed. As a player, I can't stop myself of thinking about the new possibilities brought by that feature. It's endless! A current economy into games is something really wanted by most of KoGaMa players, and the devs just did it. A smart and welcome move.
Also, we have the GameCoinChest, which works as a bonus containing X coins. It's up for the builder to determine the ammount of coins inside it. A really welcome idea, since it's easier than spreading a high number of coins through the map.
The new HUD is nice. I appreciate it much more than the previous ones, well organized. Really fits with KoGaMa and everything else. I'm curious to know what are those buttons at the right of the screen when we press ESC. Sounds promising.
On another hand, I miss the oxygen bar while underwater.Now the oxygen bar is the same than the life one, so that means we have less energy than before if underwater. Actually the oxygen bar still exists, but it's hidden. I would like to see her back.
The only issue that the player might have, is the way how we unlock content with coins. You can't unlock a content for once to use it as free as you want after the first purchase, which is good at some cases and bad at another. For example, if a builder wants a game where the player unlock a pickup for once, without the need of unlocking it again in order to use, it's not possible right now. Would be nice to have an option similar to the Toggle Box one, where we can decide if the content needs to be unlocked just once into a match, or not.
Overall it's a great update! And oh, I can't forget the snowflakes, thanks for that one too!
