This suggestion is to have an independent "badge" tab as to not spam your avatar page. Now create milestone achievement badges. Some examples: 10 player kills badge -> 25 pk badge -> 50 pk badge -> 75 pk badge -> 100k pk badge. 10 oculus kills badge -> 25 ok badge -> 50 ok badge -> 75 ok badge -> 100k ok badge. Win 10 games badge -> 25 game badge -> 50 game badge -> 75 game badge -> 100 game badge. Build 100 blocks badge -> build 250 badge -> build 500 badge -> build 750 badge -> build 1000 badge. Destroy 100 blocks badge -> destroy 250 badge -> destroy 500 badge -> destroy 750 badge -> destroy 1000 badge. Earn 10k silver badge -> 25k silver badge -> 50k silver badge -> 75k silver badge -> 100k silver badge. Earn 10k xp badge -> 25k xp badge -> 50k xp badge -> 75k xp badge -> 100k xp. Template:

Perhaps other rewards when obtaining the 5th and final badge of its individual series. Like 1k xp/silver for completing the 100 games won badge for example.

You are making many good suggestions on the forums lately. I am sure that a few of your ideas will be worked on once NAVigation Meshes, Brushes and Aeroportals will be done.

Thank you for your kind words peaceful and I really wish that were the case however I have a rough past with kogama over an incident that happened a few months ago which can ultimately be chalked up to a misunderstanding on the mod's part but since then they have done absolutely nothing to reconcile this fact. I will admit some fault on my part however in the aftermath that followed as I evidently over reacted and may have taken things further then they needed to go which only caused further escalation from all parties involved. But the difference here is that I can be the bigger man and admit when I have done something wrong where as again, the kogama mods refuse to admit the equal fowl play on their part. Because of this there has been a gap between us of lost trust and confidence that has yet been mended.
On topic, again I wish they were actually reading and considering these suggestions however all evidence points to the contrary. For years the community has asked for the same types of things over and over to the point of redundancy. You would see thread after thread all with similar suggestions always touching upon the same points of interests that have become popular amongst the community. NPCs, Mobs, More utilities for logic, etc. just to name a few. All of which have seemingly fell upon deaf ears. If you navigate the suggestion forum you will find many threads with excellent ideas and you will notice a lack of participation from any mod or dev. In fact its extremely rare to see them post anywhere outside of the bugs section. This lack of communication along with the lack of implementing hot topic suggestions heavily implies a lack of interest for the communities wishes.
So in summary, you cant say that there isn't sufficient demand for these suggestions when you see the same topics constantly being brought up. You cant say that there is a lack of good ideas when there are tons of fantastic suggestion threads. And you cant really say that the devs are interested in our ideas when they rarely if ever comment on said threads or provide any feedback at all. I mean, if they don't like our suggestions and/or have no plans on implementing them, they should at the very least tell us so that we can start brainstorming ideas that they might actually be interested in. And that really is the biggest problem at the end of the day, the lack of transparency and communication. And sadly, what little interaction I have had with these mods have only proven to be a negative experience.
In my honest opinion, the best thing that they can do right now is improve communication with the community, that should be their greatest focus. They need to be concise and transparent and just let us know what's up behind the scenes. I imagine that they are very limited in staff and are buckling from financial pressures in this tough economy which provides an explanation as to why development has been so slow. From a business perspective they might deny this as to not diminish consumer confidence and discourage investors from purchasing gold or otherwise supporting the game. Players might dismiss this game as being dead and thus determine that the game would be a risky investment as it could possibly shut down in the near future. However this would be a mistake. By not informing the players of the game's current financial standing they are nullifying any incentive to help the game out of the hole its already in while digging that hole deeper and halting any meaningful progression. You cant treat a problem if you wont admit that there is a problem to begin with.
If they were more honest and transparent they could reach out to the community while producing a great response as some players would feel sympathy and begin supporting kogama as to prevent the game from ultimately being shut down. One of the ways they can accomplish this is by launching a kick starter or fundraiser and ask for donations from the more passionate and charitable players. Perhaps to further incentivize this they can reward the highest donors with some kind of in game cosmetic item like a special hat or something. (I believe someone on the euro server got their own badge for essentially what I just described.) Additionally they can begin creating more shop items that can be purchased with gold. I have already made two threads on various potential items that they can create and implement for this reason. But at the end of the day, we can sit here and debate marketing strategies until the moon turns blue but nothing is going to change until kogama takes the first step.
