Browser:aboutmybrowser.com/5tHixyoqDescription:I've noticed these past few days that editing in a project for 60 minutes doesn't award 100 XP as stated in this release post. Instead, it awards 25 XP now, which doesn't seem fitting for the amount of time involved. Steps to reproduce:1. Record your current XP value on website 2. Enter a project 3. Be active in that project for 60 minutes until XP is awarded 4. Observe your updated XP value on website (refresh if necessary) -> You should be awarded 25 XP instead of the previous 100 XP

Not actually a bug, it's just a design choice they made

I disagree. If it's a design choice, then it wasn't a decision based on balance.
Currently, you gain 1 XP for every minute played in a game with more than 3 players here. That's 60 XP total for 60 minutes played.
Whereas editing a project for 60 minutes, which is more strict since it has to be continuous, only awards 25 XP.
I understand that the devs believe players like playing games more than building them, but not giving the same benefits to content creators is questionable.

I wasn't involved in the design decision, however, I can see how this works. As you mention, once you've played for 60 minutes you gain 60 XP - the 25 XP is merely a bonus awarding you a total of 85 XP for playing for 60 minutes. Whether or not the bonus is too small is arguable, but it's not something I'd classify as a bug. Thanks for the report nevertheless!

There seems to be a misunderstanding here. The "Play for 1 Minute" event isn't counted when editing a project. Only the "Edit for 60 Minutes" and "Unlock all Materials" events are. All other events are disabled while editing projects, that is, "edit-play mode". So it's only possible to earn 25 XP after 60 minutes of editing. On the other hand, if you play a game with three or more players, you earn 1 XP every minute or up to 60 XP after 60 minutes have passed. Thus, this is where I make the balance argument where players earn more XP by playing games than creators do from editing. Also, due to the stricter nature of requiring a 60 minute continuous connection, the lower XP reward could be considered unfair, if not impractical. When considering the average session time, it seems more realistic if the limit was reduced to something like 15 or 30 minutes. Thus, a lower XP reward would be fairer in that case. However, since it isn't, I feel compelled to complain about it now... sorry. You're correct though, it shouldn't be considered a bug. I was unsure if this was accidental or intentional, and that is why I posted this here. Your recent post here with the current XP amounts made it clear that it was intentional. On the other hand, if it's intended for the "Play for 1 Minute" event to be counted while editing a project with three or more players, then I suppose that could be considered a problem.

My mistake, I've obviously misunderstood how the play for one minute counter works. In that case, I can see why 25 XP is rather unfair. Christian is currently in a meeting, but I'll talk to him about it when he's done.

That's great! Thank you for restoring it back to it's previous value. (: It means a lot to builders like me.
