Browser:aboutmybrowser.com/8Q9X9ma_Description:If there are players in a game, and that game is republished, then new players will join the currently active session rather than a new session with the new level data of the republish. This means that if a creator were to change something in their project and publish that change while people are still playing the game, then this change will not be apparent until all players have left the existing session. Steps to Reproduce:1. Publish a project. 2. Have a friend or alt join the published game. 3. Edit the project so that it's notably different. 4. Republish. 5. Attempt to join republished game that friend or alt is in. -> You will be directed to the session the friend or alt is in (before second publish) rather than being sent to a new session (after second publish). Note: Tested with both classic and platform game types. It occurs in both.

Reported, but not replied to.
Still, it might be an unintentional consequence of session manipulation. A republished project doesn't take priority over joining a friend or people from your region, for example.
