I absolutely love the new update, I am sure everyone does as well, Though there are many ways to update this new feature, I am currently getting to work with unity and currently creating my own game, KoGaMa is programed in unity-
-In unity you can choose which setting you want your game to platform onto, A 2D game or a 3D game.
-What KoGaMa did for this update was basically was completely redo the 3D feature, They took the camera and centered it in such a way it is not able to move even with analogue input from players, Specifically to call it a platformer, While most people (If not all) expected a 24 or 8 bit creation center and playground where it can become their new Super Mario bros, Unity is able to do this, My suggestion is that when it asks you what mode you want your map to be, There will be various options weather you want your game to be 24 bit or 16 bit, You name it, If not they will just choose the classic mentioned above.
-Another problem I has was while I was working on a map, I try my best to make sure I am inputting everything in the right direction, I have actually made this mistake a couple of times is where I would build a huge platform and then having it not correspond to the way the camera was facing, Because I am so used to being free while building I have a suggestion where you are able to have a reminder at the side of the screen so you know which direction you are building in.
-I am inputting something personal this time, A sky view from your avatar in platforms, The devs should realize there are tones of opportunities they are throwing away for example an RPG, Players would be able to create an RPG with a sky view and most RPG's use that sky view, We want to bring more gaming opportunities to KoGaMa so that it thrives to meet peoples wants.
-Here is something that would allow for a more collective experience in KoGaMa platforms, Being able to create your own collectables in KoGaMa, Example you can create coins and name them, Well why would we want these? Because the classic games have stars and I know this is a bit of a stretch but most platformers utilize some form of collectible Coins, Bananas, You name it and because these are so popular with platforms they would bring a whole new and enjoyable feature to KoGama
