I have two ideas I would love to see in KoGaMa.
Dashing: Does everyone know how in edit mode, you have the option of flying faster to get to the different areas of the map you would like to work on? This is similar.
Play out the following case scenario in your head: KoGaMa reality: A player is rushing at you violently trying to kill you with a sword he picked up earlier, You have to jump to pick up some more speed to get away, as is the player as well, while this looks awfully silly, it can be changed.
KoGaMa with dashing feature: A player is rushing at you violently trying to kill you with a sword he picked up earlier, you will be able to press "Shift" as you are running to get a speed bonus as well as a small smoke effect trying to play out behind you, as this will not last infinitely, under the health bar you will see a yellow bar starting to deplete, this will be known as your "stamina gauge", if you allow all of it to deplete you will get a walking animation, you will start to walk slowly for 4 seconds until the bar fills itself up again, this should be implemented so you would not be "un-catchable", this will also give the player behind you a chance to kill you so you use more strategy to survive.
Weapon speeds: I have thought to consider that not all weapons in KoGaMa weigh 1 pound, and some of you may think that these weapons are overpowered, letts go over the main concept of this idea: because some weapons are so powerful they must have some kind of restriction on them, letts say you are using a bazooka, while you are carrying the weapon, you will be moving slow due to the largeness of the weapon, if you are using a centergun you would be moving at your normal speed, if you are to use a shotgun you would be moving at a medium speed.
What if you tried to dash while holding a bazooka? You would dash at the speed you would dash if you never held a weapon but your stamina gauge will decrease much faster, so your stamina power ultimately comes down to what weapon you are using of if you ever have a weapon equipped at all.
