After a long time of seeing forum boards like this where everyone just compiles all their suggestions, some of which are always overlooked and some I, personally, would actually like to see implmented, I thought up a small idea that may be able to increase the effectiveness of this board, that is where the "Idea of the Month" comes in.
The whole idea is that there is a thread made at the beginning of each month where players can compile one idea into one brief sentence and a poll is created for players to vote for the idea they like the most, within that one month, a prototype of that feature will be created and if it is used enough then the prototype development will continue and eventually become an official KoGaMa feature.
One flaw can I can think of right off of the top of my head is people suggesting fairly large features and that idea winning, in which case the prototype would take longer than one month to create. However, assuming the KoGaMa team has a fairly efficient workflow, it shouldn't be too much of a problem implementing small prototypes each month.

Since you asked...
It would be interesting to see if such a thing would invigorate and organize the community, but you would also run the very high risk of getting everyone's hopes up. No game company is required to implement suggestions taken from their community.
