I assume from the other suggestions that the rest of the community is already assuming the concept of clans will be implemented at some point. For this feature we should also have some neat features to go along with it. Im sorry if I added anybody elses ideas as I did not really read all the suggestions, but these are all original i suure you, with that being said here are some of my ideas:
Clan Spawns- When placing down a "clan spawn" the project members should be allowed to select what clan would spawn there or at least given the option to spawn there (even to clans they do not own for rivalry sake). If a clan member spawns to their according clan spawn-point, they should have a little icon that shows above their head to other players so that they know who to fire at. This would work in a similar manor as the team spawns do, but the project members should be able to adjust weather or not friendly fire is allowed between clan mates.
Clan Doors- this blueprint would look like a slightly transparent plane that can be re-sized on all 3 axis. the color would be tweak-able (to fit a map theme). The basic concept is that only members of the selected clan would be able to pass through these doors (or areas, since the thing would be re-sizable). this blueprint has many practical uses and players could even get a little more creative. for example, they could be used as platforms and any player who is apart of the selected clan would fall through.
Clan buttons- I don't feel like this needs explaining, but I will do it regardless. This would be a normal button except that only clan members (or members in a specific division of the clan) can activate it. This would rid the need to create ugly V.I.P rooms because we would be able to add all the VIP controls in plain sight. The color would also be able to be changed.
Clan divisions (ranks)- Say if my clan is made open to everybody so it has a lot of members in it yet I don't want everybody in it to have a lot of power in a clan-based games. I could make divisions of my clan to separate our more powerful members from the lesser newbies. This can be used in conjunction with the clan spawns because I could have footsoilders spawn at a barraks tent while having my handy dogfighters spawn at a runway or helipad (for when those features are available)
Clan marketplace- When a member of a clan makes a model, they can choose to put it on the clan marketplace or their own. Assuming the public marketplace never returns, this would get their models more sales and further the in-game economy. the clan owner can also choose to have the clan marketplace open to the public on their clan page or or to make it so only members can shop there.
Clan Owner Perks- Since it will probably cost an arm and a leg to start a clan (judging by the recent changes to price the DEVs have made), Clan leaders should be able to receive benefits from their clan's activity which I have listed below:

- Clan tax- The clan leader could choose to (or not to) receive a cut from all models sold on their clan marketplace. the leader should be able to adjust the tax rate so that a clan may or may not succeed according to the greed of the leader.
- Clan Badge- Clan leaders should receive a badge that signifies they are a leader.
- Clan stats- The leader should be able to receive charts and stats about how their clan is doing (Marketplace sales, member join rate, net kills, net deaths, arch clan rival[clan killing most of their members], Etc). the leader can choose what information (if any) they would like to share with their members/public.
