This block (which can be colorized via the colorizer i mentioned previously) would act as a normal block except that it would have no collisions. Players could literally just walk through it. This can be used for creating secret rooms or trap floors. A player's camera would act the same when positioned near the trap block so there is no telling what is a trap and what is not. This feature can also be implemented by an option under the settings area of a model rather than a separate block, that may be more practical for this site.

There is already a Trap Block. It can be created by Texture Breaking a block, then pulling it down from the top 3 times, then pulling it up from the bottom 3 times, then finishing it by going inside the block, and pull down the inside-bottom once. Ask Jatsu for further details if you have trouble finding an understanding of that.

Codrew already knows how to make broken textures < broken blocks < illegal blocks. What he's talking about is a new material that has an effect/ability attached to it. Much like lava material has a damaging effect to it, the suggested trap block (maybe could be renamed for better clarity ) would have a no collision effect. There's a lot of effects that haven't been added yet, but would be really useful. Most if not all relate to game physics, but effects that accelerate/decelerate players, cause sticky/slow/stop, spring/auto-bounce, affect gravity/float/sink, one-direction movement, etc. etc. etc. These kinds of things would make creating platformer or obstacle games exponentially more fun to create and play. But of course, a no collide block? The best kind of troll. (: You can already kinda mimic this by stacking TNTs into a medium red wall, to fake the illusion of a solid wall - but you can walk through the TNTs. Though, a legit block doing this would be insanely better.
