As most of us know, you can't post consecutive posts at your profile, within several minutes. In fact you have to wait for 10 minutes.
But what happens when you make a typographical mistake and click the "x" to delete the post but you can't post anything else for the next 10 minutes? The answer is this: you have to wait and wait and wait and wait.
I'd generally prefer it, if this simple thing can happen:
- When you have posted and deleted a post, then the timer should be changed to the last post you had posted. To make it clear, if we have posted 2 posts, one at 12:00 and one at 12:30 and deleted the second one, then the timer should be counted from the first post, instead of the second one. So, in order to post a status, 10 minutes must pass since the last un-deleted post. In this example, it'll be from 12:10. That way, you will be able to correct a mistake without enabling spam.
P.S I am bad at explaining. If you couldn't make any sense out of this, let me know. When posting this suggestion I had little free time to do that. Sorry *-*
