It's a minor visual issue, but hasn't been reported yet, so I'll pass it along to the developers. They'll get back to you soon.
While holstering a charging weapon will fire it, the hit indicator on the crosshair becomes hidden when the weapon is unequipped in 3rd person mode. When you reequip the weapon, the crosshair and hit indicator returns, though briefly. Since this happens well after the confirmation sound of hitting something, this is weird behavior.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Pick up a railgun and charge it all the way. 2. Aim at a turret object or another player, but don't release left click button. 3. Press 'Q' to holster the weapon, firing the weapon instead. 4. Press 'Q' again to reequip the weapon. -> For a brief time, less than half a second, the "hit" indicator will appear around the crosshair despite not hitting anything in that instance.
