It is no use merely putting in the hand of the system, the general functioning of a moral system of punishments for infringments.
Until you have a conscious human group responsible by the operation of the system (of infringements/punishment) will have disastrous errors. And that's not even the problem. The problem is when will such errors last... A preconfigured system operating in these moral system will not only fail, but also, will not analyze the mistake, realize that it is a mistake, stop making the same mistake and correct the error that made and everything subsequent thereto...
Today, the automatic banishment system (auto-ban) didn't showed up as an mistake, but yes, showed up as something that may fail.
If you thought about give the player the possibility of get unquestionable evidence of the infringements, you'll not only save all the work that would be spent on the formulation and the numerous maintenances of the automatic system but also will make players who break rules fear the players they bother.
In a system where everyone is a danger to everyone that want to pull a fast one on someone, you would not risk doing this right?
